ARTISTS NEWS & ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Five Bainbridge artists have been accepted for the
Washington State Arts Commission's Artist Resource Bank roster:
Patty Rogers, Diane Bonciolini, Robin Krutch, Pamela Dharamsey Lee,
and Barbara Wilson.
Bainbridge artist Shawn M. Agosta's sculpture, Wisdom,
has been included in Exhibits USA 3-year traveling tour starting

Three works by Bainbridge tapestry artist Marielle
Snyder have been chosen for the Society of Contemporary Craft Sept.
-Jan. exhibit, Perchance to Dream in Pittsburgh, PA, followed by
a year-long national tour.
Works by Bainbridge printmaker Mary Lou Kostal were
accepted in three recent juried exhibitions: the Kirkland Art Center
2003 Printmaking Biennial, the October 2004 Northwest Fine Arts
Competition, and the 6th Annual Art Port Townsend Expressions Northwest
Juried Art Show, also this past October.
The BIAHC's Bainbridge in Bloom website, gardentour.info, won design awards in two separate national competitions: the 2004 Webmaster Award for design excellence and the 2004 WebAward for Standards of Excellence. ABC's Extreme Makeover TV series selected two of
Michele Soderstrom's horse paintings to hang in a Kingston home
featured in an upcoming program.
Bainbridge Island watercolorist John Adams received
3rd prize in the Northwest Watercolor Society Annual Members Exhibition.
His painting was one of 65 selected from 200 entries nationwide.
The show opens Nov. 18 in Bellevue.

compile a manual for a model High School Arts Apprentice program.
Writer will come to 3 meetings over 6 months, work with one principal,
