This ethereal piece, placed in a quiet, dark spot along the stream, utilizes a simple contemporary building material to create a vessel-like form that appears transitory. The method of constructing the form refers to traditional weaving techniques that link to the act of making and crafting that occurred at Blakely Harbor. The form's placement alludes to the temporal quality of changes in water levels, history, land - all forces that might leave something behind in an unlikely location.
